SAP Project Management Intern

What I liked

I was able to work hand in hand with people who have been in there careers for a long time, I learned from them , gained a lot of business and professional skills that I can apply to my future career. I participated in group projects with other interns and also volunteered around the community .

What I wish was different

More time to shadow individuals within the company , so as to be able to see what a day in a life would look like for someone in a project management position.

Advice

When you are looking for an internship you should attend any career events they hold on campus, and if you get multiple No's from organizations just keep applying, also joining students organizations on campus will help with networking . I joined the Information system club on campus ,a couple people from the organization came to speak in one of our meetings , I talked to them after the meeting and during my interview I mentioned meeting them at the IS club and I believe this networking is part of what helped me land this internship.

Structural Design Intern

What I liked

One of my favorite things about this internship is the opportunity and freedom to explore and try to make whatever I wanted. Everyone in the company would take interest in what I was doing and offer advice or teach me about different things. The environment was very encouraging.

What I wish was different

Advice

Step up and try new things. This is not an internship where you can just wait around for instruction. Most of the time, you can work on your own projects and designs, as long as assigned tasks are already complete.
