DHL Express gave me a lot of opportunities to get hands on experience. I was an acting supervisor so I was able to do everything from run reports to run the outbound operation. I got a lot of hands on experience that will be applicable to my future career and was the application of concepts I had learned in class.
What I wish was different
Nothing!! I was giving so any wonderful once in a lifetime opportunities I couldn't have asked for more!
Advice
I would tell every one to ask a lot of questions. The more questions you ask, the more you will learn from your internship. Never be afraid to jump into situations because school has prepared you.

What I liked
My teammates were a lot of fun to work with. Due to covid there was a lot of overtime available. It was a nice work out as we were lifting packages all night.

It is a tough job but it is very rewarding. The supervisors and management take care of you. Work hard and you can move up.
