Tools Engineer Intern
June - August 2020 • Irvine, CA
What I liked
I had the opportunity to get a look into the video game industry. Also had the opportunity to work on one project and learn how to contribute my skills into this project.
What I wish was different
Nothing. I think everything went well and I loved my experience.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Through this internship I learned that it is okay to ask questions. You aren’t going to get many places if you don’t ask questions. And that it is true that there is no stupid questions!

UX/UI Design Intern
June - August 2020 • Irvine, CA
What I liked
The recruiting process was great because the recruiters were supportive and were willing to answer any questions I had along the way. I really loved the team that I worked on and my mentors were very supportive and took me under their wing to teach me new skills. I also enjoyed the project that I worked on over the summer. Not only did I learn a lot during the project, but it was also a great time to showcase my own design skills.
What I wish was different
I, of course, wish that this experience could have been in-person but due to COVID, many internships were remote or even canceled so I'm grateful to still have had this opportunity.
Advice
Try to reach out to as many people as you can during the internship to make meaningful connections.
