Job Title: Accompanist Reports to: Co-Minister
Summary: The Accompanist nurtures the spiritual life of the Fellowship community in service of its mission by providing skilled musical support on Sunday mornings or as needed for other events.

Essential Job Duties:
- Works with Fellowship ministers, guest worship leaders, and Music Coordinator to support the music experience on Sunday mornings or as needed and available for other events such as memorial services or concerts.
- Piano accompaniment should be flexible, creative, and supportive to the hymn-singing or choir performance.

Requirements:
Hours: This position is an hourly position, estimating 7-8 hours per week, year-round, with understanding that flexibility is required week-to-week and unpaid time off is granted (typically 1 Sunday per month) in coordination with supervisor. Regular attendance at rehearsals for choir is required, as well as attendance and leadership on Sunday mornings or events as scheduled.
Experience: Piano accompaniment experience, an understanding of Unitarian Universalism and a commitment to its purpose, principles, and mission. At least 3 years’ experience with piano accompaniment, in a religious setting preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification: None required.
