Church Organist and Accompanist

If you have a passion to lead people in worship, then this part-time position might be a great fit for you! We offer competitive compensation that is designed to attract and retain talent. This position is one-quarter time and offers great flexibility. 

This is our traditional service where we lead with the piano and organ. The ideal candidate will have experience with both the piano and the organ, but we are more than willing to consider someone with piano skills who wants to learn the organ. 

After 49 years, our previous accompanist is retiring so we are looking for the perfect person to accompany the congregation during Sunday morning worship and play alongside our phenomenal choir. We have an excellent music program here and we’d like you to think about joining us. 

Required on-site time:

• Sunday Morning Worship at 8:30 AM 
• Thursday Evening Choir rehearsal (Sept-May)
• Men’s quartet weekly rehearsal 
• Gospel Group (Sunday morning, once per month) 
• Christmas Concert and the additional rehearsals leading up to that. 
• Special Services throughout the course of the church year (Lent, Holy Week, etc.)
