Internship Position: Pre-Law/Administrative Intern (Undergraduate)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lawrence University undergraduate student interested in law to join our litigation team as an Administrative Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment, focusing on supporting the litigation team through essential administrative tasks. The role will involve large-scale printing, assembling, binding, and stamping of various legal documents, as well as providing general administrative assistance to attorneys and legal staff working on ongoing cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the printing and organization of large volumes of legal documents for litigation matters.
- Assemble case files, including photocopying, binding, and stamping materials.
- Ensure all documents are correctly organized and ready for court filings, hearings, or attorney review.
- Help prepare exhibits and materials for depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Maintain accurate records of materials produced and track document progress.
- Support the litigation team with administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, filing, and document scanning.
- Assist with the organization and filing of electronic and physical case files.
- Perform other general administrative tasks as assigned by the litigation team.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a Lawrence University undergraduate student, preferably with a focus in pre-law or a related field, with a strong interest in pursuing law school.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with general office equipment (printers, binders, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in pursuing a legal career, particularly in litigation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
