Job Summary:

As a Digital Media & records Intern, you will assist with documenting exhibits, events, and products, managing social media content, supporting digital inventory and event preparation, and developing catalog lists for research and curatorial needs.

Hours a week: Flexible up to 15-20 hours 

Location: Headquarters at 165 North Park Avenue, Neenah, Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

  • Photograph/video record exhibits, events, and classes at the Museum.
  • Create social media posts, especially Stories/Reels for Facebook and Instagram 
  • Assistance with taking pictures and uploading products to Shopify • Assistance with digital inventory (Square) and digital event prep (Catching Fire) 
  • Using collections records and database and registration lexicon and style guide, development of catalog lists for research and curatorial purposes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in marketing, communications, graphic design and photography.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and technology
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
