About this Opportunity:
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, in partnership with Spencer Ross, has created a comprehensive paid fellowship program for college juniors or seniors, recent college graduates, early career professionals or those in career transition interested in pursuing a career in nonprofit fundraising. The successful candidate will express a distinct interest in learning about and/or pursuing a career in nonprofit fundraising. Fellows will have the opportunity to learn in a highly collaborative setting, assisting in all areas of the Broadway Cares’ development team. Responsibilities include:
● Research
● Writing
● Attending meetings
● Note-taking
● Data entry and reporting
● Relationship-building
● Event support
● Other administrative tasks
We provide:
● Regular one-on-one meetings with development fellowship coordinators
● Access to the entire development team to provide insight into all aspects of fundraising
● Access to fundraising workshops
● Mock interviews
● Individualized career mentorship, goal-setting, resume review and interview preparation
● Weekly stipend of $500
● Monthly Metrocard
Schedule:
Applicants should be prepared to work in-person in our Times Square office for 3 full days (10 am-6 pm) or 5 partial days (5 hours/day) during the work week. Additional nights/weekends may be requested depending on the event schedule.
Summer, fall and spring semesters are available. One fellowship available per session.
● Summer: May 5 - July 31, 2025 (deadline for submission: March 10, 2025)
● Fall: August 18 - December 12, 2025 (deadline for submission: June 23, 2025)
Compensation:
The student who is offered this position will be paid $6,000 as a stipend from Lawrence University to cover travel, housing, and living expenses.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the philanthropic heart of the Broadway community. Money raised by Broadway Cares funds organizations across the country that provide lifesaving medication, healthy meals, counseling and emergency assistance for those in need and crisis. Broadway Cares is the single largest financial supporter of the Entertainment Community Fund, helping everyone in entertainment and the performing arts. Broadway Cares provides annual grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service
organizations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., providing lifesaving medication, healthy meals, counseling and emergency assistance. At times of crisis, Broadway Cares also awards one-time humanitarian grants to provide emergency aid across the US and around the world.
