Director of Business Operations
Preucil School of Music is seeking a Director of Business Operations to oversee and enhance the operational and administrative functions of the internationally recognized Suzuki school as it prepares for its 50th anniversary and beyond.
The position is essential for the school’s continued success in carrying out its mission. The key aspects of the position are supervising, developing, and coordinating all business operations of the school to ensure success. This full-time position works closely with the Executive Director and Assistant Director and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including employee administration, communication with the Board of Trustees and Preucil Guild, collaboration with colleagues, parents, donors and various outside parties, assisting with the development of financial reports, and analyzing data.
This position is responsible for management of financial operations that include budgeting, financial planning, payroll, bookkeeping, financial aid program and auditing, facilitating effective communication among faculty, staff, parents, students and external parties, coordinating building and grounds maintenance for two locations, supporting administrative staff, assuring quality customer service, assisting with event planning, supporting fundraising projects, overseeing marketing/advertising, website maintenance, and other office type duties.

Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in or knowledge of non-profits and the laws that govern them
- Strong IT background
- Minimum of two years of business management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
