We EmpowHER, formally known as The Women's Empowerment Series, has a mission of creating a community of women that inspires, encourages, and motivates - through a year-round program. We help create sustainable and systemic change for women and their children. Through learning opportunities such as a peer mentoring program, online speaker series, and in-person workshops, women of all backgrounds find common ground and gain life skills through the transforming power of encouragement. Duties and Responsibilities
This role will allow you to research applicable grants for nonprofit organizations and practice writing applications for grant funding efforts. This role will build your skills in grant research, grant writing, and nonprofit fund development.
- Perform research for applicable grants for nonprofit organizations
- Grow skills, learn, and aid in grant research and writing
- Practice accurate and thorough reporting on We EmpowHER’s grant funding data
- Develop and maintain CRM connections regarding grant fund requirements
- Act as a CRM asset for We EmpowHER’s staff, volunteers, and interns regarding the performance of grant requirements
- Gain a better understanding of different CRMs, methods, and techniques in grant research, writing, management
- Participate in committee meetings
- Complete notes and paperwork as indicated by the supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation, electronic and physical files, and paperwork
- Perform additional office support as needed

We offer flexible hours (some nights and weekends are required for special events) and an inclusive working environment.
