Pass It Forward internship, sponsored by Packers Give Back/Nicolet Bank

Pass It Forward interns work alongside Press Times staff on Tuesday and/or Wednesday aiding in proofreading the upcoming publication.

Once they are comfortable, they are assigned stories every week by our Press Times editor, arts and entertainment editor or sports editor.

Each intern will initially learn all different aspects of the paper, covering different types of stories.

They usually find a niche once they've completed a few stories. 

Each week they work with the editors to improve their writing skills and build a portfolio.

This program is for individuals who want to grow their writing skills or are looking at journalism as a career.

All interns also have an opportunity to obtain certification through the Earn Your Press Pass program through the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. 

This is a paid position that can work into employment.
