Remote Customer Service Representative/Life Insurance Sales Agent (Part-Time), $18-20 / Hour + Bonus

No cold calling! 

Family-Flexible Hours: 20-28 hours per week.

Shift requirements start after 3pm CST M-F during training for 3-6 months.

Location: Remote (only in the following states: AZ, FL, ID, NC, NJ, OH, TN, TX

We’re looking for friendly, customer-obsessed folks to help advise customers with their life insurance purchasing decision. No insurance experience necessary! 100% inbound leads as an agent, high base pay and plenty of bonus opportunities available. We’ll provide all the equipment you’ll need at home.

What We’re Looking For

Our part-time telephone agents and customer service representatives are kind, smart, energetic and can multitask well, which means they can enter information at the same time they are conversing with customers. Our part-time licensed agents (you have to hold a live producer's sales license in order to legally give quotes to customers) typically work 20-28 hours per week. 

What We Offer

·       Base pay starting at $18 per hour

·       3-6 months of paid training ($18 per hour) while in the Customer Service Position

  • Shift requirements start after 3pm CST M-F during training for 3-6 months.

·       Once transitioned into a Sales Agent, base pay increases to $20 per hour plus bonus opportunities, flexible hours (20hr/week minimum, 28hr/week maximum)

·       As a Sales Agent:

  1. You must work a minimum 4hr shift blocks
  2. Minimum 1 required night after 3 pm each week
  3. Rotational weekends, once every 3 weeks, minimum 6hr shift

·       Available hours to work are 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week

·       2x pay on Holidays/paid day off

·       20% company match on 401(k)

·       All at-home equipment provided

·       We cover all insurance licensing and company appointment costs

·       Clearly defined path to full-time (and management!) with full benefits and higher earnings if you have the interest, drive and skill

What You’ll Need

You do not need your resident state life and health insurance producer license to start, but the expectation is that you will need to obtain it within 60 days of employment. Your license address must match the address on your driver's license. We'll reimburse you for your home state license acquisition costs. We'll then also pay for 30 more state licenses and all ongoing renewal, E&O and other licensing-related costs.

·       Sufficient WiFi (or wired connection) with a SpeedTest.net score of not less than 150 Download/22 Upload on your home internet speed.

·       Pleasant inbound customer service and ability to stay on script and be kind.

·       Enjoy working fully-remote and being on the phone! You’ll talk to 15-25 people each shift.

·       Weekend rotational required while training 

·       Job expectation once transitioned into the sales agent role: to write one life insurance application for every two hours logged at 50% close rate and $825 average premium per paid policy.

·       Strong sense of internal motivation - coachability is a must! We’re looking for sales agents who want to develop a lucrative career, tackle new opportunities, and grow both personally and professionally.

·       Ability to diligently maintain a clean pipeline and stay ahead of customer email, text, and voicemail.

·       Ability to work a consistent, predictable schedule with minimal adjustment.

·       Ability to stay empathetic, kind, and helpful with every customer. We use a highly detailed script and will expect it to be read verbatim.

·       All candidates must submit a completed application and recent clean credit report and must have no misdemeanor / felony convictions and no vectors.

·       Business or business-related degree from 2- or 4-year University preferred

The insurance departments and insurers are very choosy. Do you have history of bad credit, bankruptcy, criminal conviction, current overdue debts or current debts owed to any insurer?


We have high standards of customer privacy and follow HIPPA regulations to the tea. If hired, will you have a private workplace behind a closed door in which nobody can hear you?


If hired, are you available 3pm-8pm Central Time, Monday-Friday, for live training for 2 weeks?

Do you understand that you must pass your insurance licensing exam in your resident state within 60 days of employment?
