Instructional Designer

An instructional designer is responsible for creating a pedagogically sound structure for the eBooks and API, ensuring that it effectively teaches law students how to use ChatGPT-4 in their studies and practice.
Job Summary:
The Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing effective and engaging educational materials related to the intersection of artificial intelligence and the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and a keen interest in the latest developments in AI technology, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. This position requires an ability to design and develop learning materials that are tailored to different audiences and that effectively convey complex legal and technological concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and develop content outlines
  • Designing and developing engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, interactive simulations, and other materials
  • Incorporating multimedia elements, such as video and audio, to enhance the learning experience
  • Developing assessments and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of the learning materials
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments and incorporating this knowledge into the design of the learning materials
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing or an interest in pursuing a degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A deep interest and knowledge of AI and its applications in the legal industry
  • Experience designing and developing effective and engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, interactive simulations, and other materials
  • Familiarity with instructional design best practices and learning theory
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and other members of the team
  • Experience with multimedia tools and technologies, such as video editing and graphic design software
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus
