Visual Merchandising Specialist

General Description

The Visual Merchandising Specialist supports the Visual Merchandising Manager by creating the seasonal Visual Merchandising Guide (VMG) documents for multiple concepts. This role will work closely with their manager to assist in the planning, direction and execution of the Visual documents.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create seasonal VMG’s for multiple Concepts in InDesign
  • Manage and communicate Visual timelines via the Visual Calendar
  • Create clear cohesive decks to organize and illustrate new initiatives and processes
  • Build strong partnership with cross functional teams to create cohesive direction and make recommendations to Planning, Buying and Store Operations Teams
  • Manage flow of information and documents with Store Operations team

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and timelines
  • Must be able to help find best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects

Additional Job Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Retail store experience preferred
  • High creative aesthetics
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Excel
