Clinical Research Coordinator - Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Pediatrics

This clinical research coordinator position is in the Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Pediatrics, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. The research coordinator will be working in conjunction with a team of other research coordinators, nurses, and physicians in both Allergy and OB on an ongoing, long-term NIH sponsored clinical trial that focuses on the causes and risk factors of food allergies and eczema.
This is an ideal position for someone able to commit a minimum of 2 years with plans to attend medical/graduate school as letters of reference can be provided. Duties:
Recruitment of study participants (pregnant women) in OB clinics
Scheduling study visits and sample collection for the parent and infant
Monitoring at-home survey and sample collections
Entering study data into EDC
Assisting with on-site study sample collections
Maintaining multiple tracking tools for the study
Performs other related duties
Provide logistical support for monitoring visits including scheduling and document preparation as needed.
Participate in regular teleconferences, staff meetings, etc.

Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in sciences or related field.
· Prior clinical research experience is preferred.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple tasks & priorities
· Knowledge of variety of concepts, practices and procedures in directly related field
