Who we are looking for:  
Converse Technology interns will support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal intern candidate has an ability to the see big picture, understand how technology impacts the entire organization, and must possess a passion for consumer facing digital technology and innovation.  

  • Undergraduates with a graduation date of December 2023 or Spring 2024  
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information sciences or related field  
  • Previous internship(s) in a digital technology organization, marketing/consumer facing technology organization, or enterprise data and analytics team  
  • Prior experience designing and implementing web/mobile applications  
  • Ability to write computer code that is accurate, well tested, and easy-to-read  
  • Serve as the voice of consumer analytics across several workstreams, providing a perspective on what data we have, what it can tell us about consumer behavior, and how we can use it to create the best experience for our consumers and our business. 
  • An agile approach; familiarity with delivery within an agile framework  
  • The ability to communicate optimally with technical and non-technical partners  
  • Technical literacy; a foundational understanding of critical technology concepts  
  • An analytical approach; the ability to acquire, visualize and analyze data to inform decisions; The ability to formulate and test hypotheses

What you bring:  
  • Knowledge of one or more computer programming languages: Java, Python, React, Swift, JavaScript, XCode, Android Studio, C#, SQL, Scala, Shell Scripting  
  • Knowledge of one or more big data processing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark (SQL & Streaming), Nifi, Flink.  
  • Experience in a cloud-based environment: AWS, Azure, Lambda, Google, IBM cloud, etc.  
  • Experience in Docker, GCE, Rackspace or Kubernetes  
  • Solid grasp of scrum and agile principles and continuous delivery tools like Git, Jira, Version One, or Bitbucket.  

Preferred Experiences:  
  • Relational and Non-Relational data base technologies: Oracle, NoSQL, MS-SQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, Hbase, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.  
  • Business intelligence tools like Tableau  
  • SAP platform and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Manhattan.
