Audio Visual Control Systems Programmer, Programming Engineer
The Control Systems Programmer (CSP) codes the A/V control systems with look and usability in mind. They are responsible for writing the programming code to meet the design specifications and functionality to help meet the needs of Ford’s clients. The CSP will present innovative ideas, test code, create compartmentalized and reusable code segments, create screen layouts and maps, and debug code for custom Audio, Video, lighting, and videoconferencing systems.
Qualifications:
- Control System Programming Experience (Crestron and AMX systems preferred)
- Knowledge of standard software for DSP and switcher setup
- Ability to write iOS programs using Ruby, Python, Lua, Scheme, Lisp, Smalltalk, C#, Haskell, ActionScript, JavaScript, Objective-C, C++, C
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Related Discipline
- Ability to read, modify, and customize code from a pre-existing library for a specific application
