F1800105 - Clinical Assistant Professor, Operations and Supply Chain Management- MGT Operations Management & Strategy

Position Summary:
The Department of Operations Management and Strategy in the UB School of Management is seeking applicants for the post of Clinical Assistant Professor, with a focus on core instruction in Operations and Supply Chain Management. This faculty member will teach introductory core courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Furthermore, the new hire will take leadership in building real-world learning into the department’s curricular offerings, and serve as an ‘academic ambassador to industry’ in developing and guiding experiential learning opportunities for our students.

Minimum Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent degree in operations/supply chain management or a related discipline. In addition, a demonstrated record of successful teaching and at least five years relevant industry experience in operations/supply chain management.

Preferred Qualifications:
A PhD degree in operations/supply chain management or a related field. A record of scholarly activity sufficient to qualify as a Scholarly Practitioner (SP) for the purposes of AACSB accreditation. Previous experience with large-scale classes, particularly technology-mediated classes, as well MBA instruction and professional education.
