SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Arizona Elementary Certificate with Music K-12 Endorsement

OR

  • Arizona Secondary Certificate with Music Approved Area OR Music K-12 Endorsement

OR

  • Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with Music Approved Area

OR

  • Standard Professional PK-12 Music Certificate

OR

  • Arizona Arts Education - Music PreK-12 Certificate
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
  • Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

  • Salary Range $48,400 to $55,900 Per Year
  • Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR 
  • Location: Pueblo Gardens K-8 - 33rd Street & Campbell Area  
  • FTE: 1.0 FTTE – 7.5 hours per day
  • Work Calendar: 9.5 month 
  • Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
