Museum Specialist

The Museum Specialist acts primarily as a behind-the-scenes technician, providing their individual skills, knowledge and experience to museum projects. Projects may include work involving: document archives, collections management, collections conservation, collections cataloging, assisting with exhibit curation, collections inventory, assisting in the library, writing and editing text, and general museum promotions. 

Room and Board are provided, with meals at the one of the dining facilities and a 10'x12' wall tent that is shared with another. 

The National Scouting Museum is part of Scouting America and requires that one be a member of Scouting to work here, additionally to work at Philmont Scout Ranch one must complete additional training and have a Physical from a medical Doctor.
